Brooks is the Presider.  The PAW is the oldest “oneness” Pentecostal organization in the United States.  The PAW came into existence in 1906 in the city of Los Angeles, CA and was incorporated in 1919.  The organization consists of 1,005 churches located in all 50 U.S. states and 800 mission churches in foreign fields.  The PAW and its member churches believe in (1) The one baptism, as recorded in Acts 2:4; 10:44-48; 19:1-6, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance; (2) The New Birth (“being born again”), evidenced by genuine repentance, water baptism in Jesus name, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost; and (3) The Lord’s Supper [the blessing of the unleavened bread and wine and partaking thereof] as continued by the Church after the Day of Pentecost.  The PAW fully believes in the mystery of the Godhead…that Jesus was both human and divine, and further believes, that the Godhead be understood to mean all the fullness of God. (Colossians 1:19; 2:9).  The PAW further believes, that at the final consummation of all things there will be only one God, and that will be our Lord Jesus Christ.
